Genshin Impact 7.2 Mitya Signature Weapon: Is It Worth Pulling?

·原神专区

Mitya's signature Catalyst, Starsealed Edict, offers an eye-catching combination of CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery. It looks especially attractive for Stellar-Conduct damage, but evaluating the weapon alone misses an important part of the decision.

The first-half Genshin Impact 7.2 weapon lineup is expected to pair it with Furina's signature Sword, Splendor of Tranquil Waters. One has promising uses across several Catalyst characters; the other is more specialized. Here is how their stats, team requirements and potential users affect the banner's pull value.

Starsealed Edict: High CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery

At Level 90 and Refinement Rank 1, Starsealed Edict has 542 Base ATK and 88.2% CRIT DMG. Its passive adds another 24% CRIT DMG without a stacking requirement, bringing the weapon's general CRIT DMG contribution to 112.2%.

Using an Elemental Skill grants 48 Elemental Mastery for 20 seconds. During that effect, nearby party members' Elemental Reactions build up to three stacks, each adding 24 Elemental Mastery. At full stacks, the weapon provides 120 Elemental Mastery.

Under Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, those three stacks also grant 36% CRIT DMG specifically to the wielder's Stellar-Conduct reaction damage. That gives qualifying damage a combined 148.2% CRIT DMG contribution from the weapon. Other damage receives the general 112.2%, not the full 148.2%.

The stacking effect works off-field, which broadens its use beyond on-field carries. However, using the wielder's Skill again ends the existing reaction stacks, so the bonuses need to build again. Full-stack values should not be treated as permanently active throughout every rotation.

Its appeal comes mainly from strong stats rather than a unique change to how a character plays. CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery remain useful outside Stellar-Conduct, but the full package rewards teams built around that reaction.

Who Can Use Mitya's Signature Weapon?

Mitya: The Intended User

Mitya is the natural candidate for making use of the complete passive in a Stellar-Conduct team. The high Elemental Mastery and CRIT DMG are well aligned with that role. The low Base ATK is part of the weapon's stat distribution, though it does not by itself establish how every part of his damage scales.

Yae Miko and Wriothesley

Both characters are potential users in Stellar-Conduct teams. Yae Miko can build the passive while off-field, making Starsealed Edict an appealing alternative to Kagura's Verity. Early comparisons may favor it in reaction-focused setups, but that is a team-specific comparison rather than a universal upgrade. Pulling a new 5-star weapon solely to replace an already effective Kagura's Verity is harder to justify.

Wriothesley can also use the reaction bonuses, but he places more value on ATK than the weapon's low base provides. Cashflow Supervision remains an attractive fit for his own damage profile, and its Normal Attack SPD bonus can improve his attack sequence. Starsealed Edict is worth considering if you obtain it, rather than an obvious replacement for his signature.

Yumemizuki Mizuki

Mizuki can benefit from the Elemental Mastery, and the general CRIT DMG can help damage that is able to crit in a Stellar-Swirl setup. She does not receive the Stellar-Conduct-only CRIT DMG bonus in that team.

Her stat balance is also important. An EM-focused build can struggle to find enough CRIT Rate, reducing the benefit of adding so much CRIT DMG. Check the actual build rather than judging the weapon by its CRIT DMG total alone.

Nefer and Mualani

Nefer and Mualani are other possible users of the general CRIT DMG and Elemental Mastery. They do not need the entire passive for those stats to be useful, but the unused reaction bonus limits the case for pulling it specifically for them. Treat it as an option you can reuse if acquired, not an automatic target for either character.

Splendor of Tranquil Waters: Strong for Furina, Narrower Elsewhere

Furina's signature also has 542 Base ATK and 88.2% CRIT DMG at Level 90. Its passive, however, focuses on Elemental Skill damage and Max HP, which fewer Sword users can exploit together.

At R1, changes to the wielder's current HP grant up to 24% Elemental Skill DMG. Changes to other party members' current HP grant the wielder up to 28% Max HP. Both effects can trigger off-field and last six seconds, making reliable HP changes important for maintaining them.

Furina naturally supports these conditions, but the passive does not require Furina by name. The practical limitation is finding a wielder who benefits from its stats and a team that maintains the effects. Nilou values HP, for example, but her usual team role does not make full use of this weapon's CRIT DMG and Skill damage package.

Even on Furina, Energy Recharge comes first if her Burst is not ready for each rotation. Favonius Sword can be a practical alternative when the team needs energy, especially in encounters that begin without a prepared Burst. Splendor improves her personal damage potential, but it does not solve energy requirements.

Should You Pull on the 7.2 First-Half Weapon Banner?

Starsealed Edict is attractive for Mitya and has reuse potential, but its best value remains in Stellar-Conduct teams. Having another suitable Catalyst user helps if you later change Mitya's equipment; it does not make the weapon equally strong on every Catalyst character.

The shared banner is easier to justify if you also want Splendor for a Furina build whose energy needs are already covered. If you have little use for Furina's Sword, the overall banner becomes less appealing even though Mitya's weapon is strong.

For a limited budget, there is no need to force this weapon banner. Mitya players can also consider saving toward constellations, with the choice depending on the next constellation's benefit and the weapons already available. Decide how many Primogems to commit before considering a Genshin Impact top-up for the banner.
