Brawl Stars Credits Going to Fame? Check Brawler Blast First

·Brawl Stars Guides Hub

If your Brawl Stars Credits are progressing Fame while you are still missing a newly released Brawler, the first thing to inspect is Brawler Blast. Supercell’s Fame explanation says Credits move into Fame progression after you have unlocked all Brawlers through that system. A brand-new Brawler is not necessarily available there immediately.

That makes your collection screen and your available Credit-unlock pool different checks. A missing portrait alone does not prove that the next Credit reward will unlock that character. Look at the Brawler’s current acquisition route before claiming more Credits or paying for a shortcut.

A new Brawler can sit outside the Credit route

The official Brawler-unlocking page explicitly says newly released Brawlers are not immediately available in Brawler Blast. Instead, it describes Brawler Box events as the route for new releases. During those events, players can earn boxes through the event’s ticket-and-match structure, with the current event defining the exact details.

The useful distinction is availability, not simply rarity or whether the Brawler appears in a promotional banner. Open the Brawlers menu and inspect the actual unlock option. If it directs you to the new-release event, collecting more Credits does not make that event requirement disappear.

This also explains why buying a random Brawler Blast unlock is a poor shortcut for a specific new release that is not in the pool. Supercell describes the Gem shortcut as a random unlock within Brawler Blast. Check the eligible pool before treating any paid option as a route to the exact Brawler you want.

Fame progression has cosmetic rewards, not upgrade power

Fame appears as an icon on your player profile, and its progression can be checked through the Brawlers menu. Supercell lists 8 Fame tiers, each with 3 levels. The tier names run from Global through Lunar, Martian, Saturnian, Solar, Meteoric and Alien to Starr Force. Those names describe cosmetic progression, not the rarity of your next unlock.

  • Fame Level 2: Player icon.

  • Fame Level 3: Pin.

These rewards can be worth pursuing if showing collection progress matters to you. They are a different goal from leveling a Brawler or unlocking a particular character. Treat a Fame milestone as a cosmetic milestone when comparing what a reward will actually do for your account.

Credits, Coins and Gems solve different problems

Supercell’s currency page separates their purposes. Credits are used to unlock Brawlers through Brawler Blast. Coins pay for upgrades and items such as Gadgets, Gears, Hypercharges and Star Powers. Power Points work with Coins to upgrade unlocked Brawlers. A Credit reward should not be budgeted as if it were another Coin balance.

Gems have Shop uses including Brawlers, skins and offers, but an offer’s contents are what matter. A skin, a cosmetic reward and an actual Brawler unlock should not be treated as interchangeable. Read the listed contents before deciding that an offer fills a gap in your collection.

Check the missing Brawler before spending on more resources

Start from the character you want. If it is available in Brawler Blast, inspect that pool and its displayed Credit or Gem option. If it is a new-release event reward, read that event’s box and ticket rules instead. If you have completed the available Brawler Blast roster, more Credits have a Fame purpose under the current rule.

For a verified Gem-priced option, compare Brawl Stars purchase options on Topuplist only after identifying what the in-game offer supplies. More spending does not change the pool’s eligibility. The important check is whether the selected route can deliver the exact type of reward you still need.
