Who Is Xiao?

Xiao is a limited 5-star Anemo Polearm character from Liyue, released in Version 1.3 (February 3, 2021). He is the Vigilant Yaksha and one of the game's most iconic hypercarries, known for high plunge damage, mobility, and powerful self-centered burst windows.

Xiao deals most of his damage during Bane of All Evil, where he converts his attacks to Anemo and repeatedly plunges from the air. He performs best with strong battery support, healing, and buffs that improve plunge damage or raw personal damage.

Skill Mechanics and Talent Priority

Normal Attack: Whirlwind Thrust

Performs up to 6 polearm strikes.
Xiao has one of the highest plunge-centric kits in the game.
His plunge damage during Burst is the main reason he is played as a hypercarry.

Elemental Skill: Lemniscatic Wind Cycling

Cooldown: 10s. Charges: 2.

Dashes forward, dealing Anemo DMG to enemies in the path.
