Who Is Durin?

Durin is a limited 5-star Pyro Sword character from Mondstadt, released in Version Luna III (December 3, 2025). He is a dragon-born alchemical creation from the book realm of Simulanka, brought to Teyvat by the witch Alice. After befriending wanderers in Sumeru and traveling to Mondstadt, he studied under Lisa and became part of the Knights of Favonius circle. His constellation is the Red Dragon, and his in-game birthday is March 14.

Durin is a sub-DPS / support that revolves around a unique dual-form mechanic. Through his Elemental Skill, he can enter either the White Form (Purification) for off-field support and AoE Pyro application, or the Black Form (Darkness) for personal damage and single-target burst. His Elemental Burst summons a dragon ally that attacks for 20 seconds — with only 18 seconds of cooldown, it has near-permanent uptime.
