Shinku Pull Guide NTE V1.2 — Banner Info, Materials, Team Comp & Charged System Analysis
Shinku is an S-Rank Cosmos-element DPS from the Anomaly Management Bureau C.S.U Squad 2, arriving in NTE V1.2. Her Ultimate consumes "Rebellious Fighting Spirit" instead of Ultimate Energy — a unique mechanic that changes how she's played. Banner runs July 2-23, 2026. If you're new or struggling with Beyond the Rails, pull her. Be aware: she competes with Lacrimosa, Nanally, and Chaos for limited support characters. She does NOT currently fit the Charged reaction system due to lack of suitable Lakshana supports.
Shinku is an S-Rank Cosmos-element DPS from C.S.U Squad 2 of the Anomaly Management Bureau in Neverness to Everness (NTE). A cold, action-focused operative who prefers to keep her distance, Shinku brings a unique mechanic to NTE: her Ultimate does not consume Ultimate Energy — instead, it consumes Rebellious Fighting Spirit, a dedicated resource. This fundamentally changes her rotation and invalidates many previous assumptions about her playstyle.
This guide covers her banner schedule, ascension materials, pull recommendations, team competition analysis, and whether she fits the Charged reaction system.
If you are looking to stock up on Riftcrystals for the Shinku banner, Topuplist offers safe and affordable top-ups across 50+ titles.

1. Ascension Materials
Shinku's exact materials should be confirmed in-game at launch. Based on available information:

EXP Books: 323 Purple Premium EXP Books to max level
Armor Coins: 4 million Armor Coins to max level
Arc Enhancement: 364 Arc enhancement materials ("toothpaste") for level 80
Tip: Start farming EXP Books and Armor Coins now — the total cost is significant. You can also pre-farm Arc enhancement materials.

3. Pull Recommendations
Should You Pull Shinku?
Resource Planning
Character Banner: Expected average ~53.5 pulls (peak probability at pull 71)
Arc Banner: Expected average ~59.5 pulls (peak probability at 8th 10-pull)
For Shinku A0 + Signature Arc R1 (0+1): With average luck, you need approximately 107 Dice + 119 Keys
Important: V1.2 free resources alone are NOT enough to guarantee both Shinku and her Signature Arc at 0+1, unless you have saved resources from previous versions, spend money, or get extremely lucky
Be prepared for worst case: The Arc banner has a high probability of hitting pity — plan for it

4. Will Shinku Compete for Teammates?
Yes — 101% certain. Shinku is a main DPS, and NTE currently has a limited pool of support characters. She will compete directly with:
Characters like Sakiri, Eloi (if released), and Haniel are universally valuable supports — they will be contested across multiple DPS teams. If you already have a well-invested Lacrimosa or Nanally team, consider whether Shinku is worth the resource competition.
5. Does Shinku Fit the Charged Reaction System?
Currently: No. Shinku is not recommended for Charged reaction teams at this time.
Why: The Charged system requires Cosmos + Lakshana + Anima elements. While Shinku provides Cosmos, there are currently no suitable Lakshana-element support characters that synergize well with her kit. Without a proper Lakshana enabler, the Charged system cannot function effectively.
Future outlook: The Charged system has strong potential for Shinku. Once suitable Cosmos, Anima, or Lakshana teammates are released — particularly a support similar to Xingqiu from Genshin Impact who can enable reactions off-field — Shinku's Charged team may become meta-defining.
Important clarification: This guide recommends against Charged for Shinku right now. If future patches release an appropriate Lakshana support, this recommendation will change. Always check for updates.
Final Verdict
Shinku is a unique limited DPS with a resource-based Ultimate mechanic that sets her apart from every other character in NTE. Her banner is worth pulling on if you need a main DPS or enjoy her design — but be mindful of resource competition with existing DPS characters.
Should You Pull Shinku?
Yes, if:
You are a new player or struggling with Beyond the Rails
You like her design and playstyle
You have saved enough resources (107 Dice + 119 Keys for 0+1)
Consider skipping, if:
You already have a well-invested Lacrimosa or Nanally team
You are saving for future banners
Your support roster is already stretched thin
