Iroi's The Lifeline Banner: The Month's Centerpiece

What Drops on The Lifeline Board

Iroi is the second limited S-Class Esper of Version 1.2 and the first dedicated limited healer in the game's history. She is an Anima support from the Bureau of Anomaly Control's CSU-2 division, the same unit as Shinku and Mint — GameWith's Iroi release and build guide documents the full kit breakdown. Her kit heals the whole team, grants an ATK buff, pulls enemies together with her lamb summons, and can temporarily revive a fallen ally through the Regression mechanic.

The Lifeline board features Iroi alongside the A-Class characters Haniel, Skia and Aurelia. Rolling on this board costs 1 Solid Die per pull, or 160 Annulith. NTE removes the traditional 50/50: the featured S-Class is guaranteed by the 90th pull with no off-banner losses, and the pity count from Shinku's board carries straight into Iroi's because all limited character boards share one pity pool.

Wayfarer Perks: The 50 / 120 / 200 Roll Milestones

The Lifeline board also carries three cosmetic milestones, called Wayfarer Perks, that do not carry over to future banners:

  • 50 rolls: Sheepcopter glider skin

  • 120 rolls: Three's Company livery for the B100 vehicle

  • 200 rolls: Iroi's Archmage outfit

In pull currency, those milestones cost 8,000, 19,200 and 32,000 Annulith respectively. The 200-roll ceiling also overlaps with two guaranteed Iroi copies (90 + 90), so heavy spenders who chase the outfit are pulling constellations at the same time. Full cost math is covered in our Archmage outfit cost guide if cosmetics are the goal.

The Wrong Gate Arc Banner: The Other Limited Pool

Dreamgate Special Arc Research Program

Running alongside The Lifeline for the whole phase, the Dreamgate Special Arc Research Program features Iroi's signature Arc, The Wrong Gate (S-Rank Liquid). It is obtained by spending Tri-Keys (10 Tri-Keys per multi, no single pulls; 1,600 Annulith per multi) through the Arc Research entry on any banner screen.

The banner uses a two-layer guarantee: an S-Rank Arc appears every 6 pulls (60 Tri-Keys), any S-Rank pulled has a 25% chance to be The Wrong Gate, and the hard guarantee hands you the Arc at 8 pulls (80 Tri-Keys = 12,800 Annulith). The Arc's Reverie Gate passive turns every heal into a damage buff — 30% Anima DMG for Iroi and 15% DMG for all allies for 20 seconds — which is why it is the single biggest damage upgrade in her kit.

Fishing Frenzy: Dates, Catching and Rewards

Fishing Frenzy Event Period

Fishing Frenzy runs from August 3, 5:00 to August 19, 5:59 (Server Time) — roughly 16 days. It is a bulk-catch fishing event built around raising your fishing level fast, and it overlaps with Warren Lucky Flip so you can grind both in the same session.

How Catching Works During Fishing Frenzy

A fishing rod is only the starting point. During the event you can switch to harpoons, nets and throwables to pull in large amounts of fish at once — the official tagline is that there is more than one way to land your catch. Every catch feeds two tracks at the same time:

  1. Your fishing level, which rises as you catch fish.

  1. Your Catch Points, the event currency that unlocks new fishing skills.

Fishing skills improve how you catch going forward, so spending Catch Points early makes the rest of the grind faster. Because the event tools clear water quickly, Fishing Frenzy is widely recommended as the most efficient way to push fishing level in the entire patch.

Confirmed Fishing Frenzy Rewards

The confirmed reward set includes:

  • Annulith (premium pull currency)

  • Elite Hunter Guide (character upgrade material)

  • Chaotic Dye (cosmetic dye)

  • Floe Cinema Tickets and event materials

Note that rewards and Catch Points only accrue while the event is live, so plan your fishing runs before the August 19 cutoff. The event spot is the Sea Angler location at Nacupeda Park.

Warren Lucky Flip: Daily Quest Flips

Warren Lucky Flip opens August 5 and closes August 19. You earn card flips by completing daily quests, and the flips unlock rewards on a board. Confirmed payouts include the "Matcha Mood" livery for the Rover A1, Annulith, Fabricated Dice, Elite Hunter Guides and Chaotic Dye. It is a low-effort event — the daily quests are tasks you are already doing — but the Rover livery is exclusive to this run, so collectors should not skip it.

Going, Going, Gone!: The Auction Event

Going, Going, Gone! runs the full phase, July 29 to August 19. It is an auction-style event where you bid on collectibles with the help of your companions, who appraise items and improve your bids. Confirmed rewards include:

  • The "Highest Bidder Wins" title

  • The "Choice" avatar frame

  • The "Deal!" namecard

  • Annulith, Fabricated Dice, Fons, Floe Cinema Tickets and Anomaly Pilgrimage Material Selection Boxes

It is one of the more generous Annulith sources of the phase, and the Fabricated Dice drop is directly useful for players saving toward the Standard Board's S-Rank selector.

Farming Events: Pixel Surge and Fons Rush

Two double-reward events run in the middle of August to ease your resource grind:

  • Pixel Surge (Aug 3 - Aug 10): Spend Character Pixels in Houdini's Magic Stage, Bubble Can Factory and Rabbit Hole for double rewards, up to 120 Pixels per day. Unused allowance carries over, capped at 840 total.

  • Fons Rush (Aug 10 - Aug 17): Spend City Stamina on Hethereau Hobbies activities for double Fons, up to a 700 Stamina cap. Fons from Races > Challenge is excluded.

Neither event hands out Annulith, but both save you days of farming — and since Iroi needs Beetle Coins and upgrade materials to build, they pair naturally with her release window.

Free Rewards You Can Claim in August

What You Can Claim for Free

The confirmed free handout list for the Phase 2 window:

  • 300 Annulith maintenance compensation (all pre-July 29 accounts)

  • 10 Solid Dice from the Circle Gifts 7-day login event (limited-board pulls)

  • Annulith + Fabricated Dice from Going, Going, Gone!, Fishing Frenzy and Warren Lucky Flip (exact amounts scale with participation)

  • Annulith rewards from the Eibon Partner Program for returning players (up to 100 + 300 + 240 Annulith plus Fabricated Dice across its tracks)

  • Annulith and Fabricated Dice from 999 Nights progression, the patch-long story and roguelike mode

  • A free S-Class Standard Character Selection Box from the 1.2 login campaign (choose from Sakiri, Baicang, Hathor, Fadia, Daffodill or Jiuyuan)

Combined with daily quests, weekly missions and Beyond the Rails refreshes, the confirmed free income covers a meaningful slice of the 50-roll Wayfarer Perk milestone (8,000 Annulith) before you spend a single Riftcrystal.

The Best Annulith Spending Plan for August

Free-to-Play Spending Plan

The F2P priority order is simple: Iroi first, Arc second, cosmetics never. Pull on The Lifeline until you secure Iroi (90-pull hard pity, pity carries over so nothing is wasted), then stop. Do not spend on the Dreamgate Special Arc banner unless you already own Iroi and still have a full 12,800 Annulith buffer, because the Wrong Gate is a damage amplifier, not a requirement for her to function. Spend earned Fabricated Dice only on the Standard Board. Skip Wayfarer Perk cosmetics entirely — they are the biggest single-currency sink in the patch and expire with the banner.

Light Spender Spending Plan

If you buy the Riftcrystal Permit (4.99 monthly pass: 300 Riftcrystal up front, 2,700 Annulith over 30 days)** and the **Circle Bounty Elite tier (9.99: 680 Annulith, 4 Solid Dice, 2 Fabricated Dice, an Arc-light Trove and materials), you add roughly 4,000+ Annulith on top of your free income. That is enough to guarantee Iroi in most realistic pity positions and still leave a partial stash for Version 1.3. Keep the first-purchase double bonus on the $29.99 pack untouched as your emergency fund.

Dolphin and Whale Spending Plan

For players going for the full package, the spending order is: Iroi to C0 → The Wrong Gate to base rank (8-pull hard guarantee) → consider Iroi C1/C2 → Wayfarer Perks cosmetics only as a side effect of pulls already planned. Note that 200 pulls (32,000 Annulith) delivers the Archmage outfit plus two guaranteed Iroi copies, which is the most resource-efficient way to collect her cosmetics if you were pulling for awakenings anyway. Do the first-purchase double on the 6,480 pack before anything else — it is the best per-Riftcrystal deal in the shop.

What to Skip in August

Skip the Fortune Dice Pack and premium skin purchases (Summer Dream at 1,680 Riftcrystal and Dreamweaver at 2,680 Riftcrystal stay cheaper only while Version 1.2 is live, but neither helps pull counts). Skip the Honor tier of the battle pass unless you want the cosmetics. And most importantly, do not spend Annulith on the Standard Board — its pool never changes and limited characters are strictly stronger investments.

Top Up Annulith Fast and Safe

Ready to secure Iroi before the August 19 cutoff? A Neverness to Everness top-up on Topuplist via the official Topuplist platform delivers Riftcrystal quickly and securely, and since Riftcrystal converts 1:1 into Annulith in-game, every pack converts directly into pulls on The Lifeline board. Topuplist supports the NTE store's standard denominations and first-purchase double bonus on eligible tiers, with customer support available around the clock.

FAQ

When do the August 2026 NTE events end?
The whole Version 1.2 Phase 2 wave — Iroi's The Lifeline board, the Dreamgate Special Arc banner, Going, Going, Gone! and Warren Lucky Flip — closes on August 19, 2026 at 05:59 (UTC+8). Fishing Frenzy ends at the same time on August 19.

What are the August 2026 event dates?
The Lifeline and Dreamgate Special run July 29 to August 19; Going, Going, Gone! runs the same window; Fishing Frenzy runs August 3 to August 19; Pixel Surge runs August 3 to 10; Warren Lucky Flip runs August 5 to 19; Fons Rush runs August 10 to 17.

Is Fishing Frenzy worth doing?
Yes. It is the most efficient way to raise your fishing level, it pays Annulith, and its exclusive rewards include Elite Hunter Guide and Chaotic Dye. It only runs until August 19, so bank your Catch Points before then.

How much free Annulith can I get in August?
Confirmed handouts include 300 Annulith maintenance compensation, 10 Solid Dice from Circle Gifts, and event Annulith from Going, Going, Gone!, Fishing Frenzy, Warren Lucky Flip and 999 Nights. The Eibon Partner Program adds up to 640 Annulith for returning players.

Should I spend Annulith on Iroi or save for Version 1.3?
If you lack a healer, pull Iroi — she is the first limited dedicated healer. If your roster already has strong sustain and no Incantation DPS, save for Zankou (expected August 19). Pity carries over, so any partial investment is never wasted.

Where can I top up Annulith for NTE?
You can buy Riftcrystal packs and the monthly pass directly through official channels, or use a Neverness to Everness top-up on Topuplist through the official Topuplist storefront, which converts 1:1 into Annulith in-game.
