Wuthering Waves New Characters: All 6 Mengzhou Resonators Revealed (v3.5–3.7)
TL;DR — Kuro Games dropped a surprise teaser on June 15, 2026 revealing six new Resonators from Mengzhou, Huanglong's second region. They'll roll out across versions 3.5 through 3.7, starting approximately July 9, 2026. Highlights: Yangyang: Xuanling (the game's first SP character), Hsin (one of Huanglong's seven Sentinels), and four brand-new faces — Suisui, Suoming, Jingran, and Qingxiao. If you've been hoarding Astrite, start planning now.

Wuthering Waves 3.5–3.7: Full Character Roadmap
Kuro Games released the teaser without revealing attribute types or weapon classes. The table below compiles everything we know from the official trailer and community analysis.
Note: Version estimates and weapon types are based on community leaks. Official confirmation of attributes and full kits is still pending from Kuro Games.
Yangyang: Xuanling — WuWa's First SP Resonator
Every Wuthering Waves player receives Yangyang at the start of the game — a 4★ Aero Sword Resonator who's been a reliable companion through the early story but rarely sees endgame play. That changes in version 3.5 with Yangyang: Xuanling, a 5★ alternate form and the game's first-ever SP (Special) variant.

Design & Aesthetic
Yangyang: Xuanling's design fuses traditional Chinese ink-wash aesthetics with cyan bird (青鸟) feather textures — a significant visual upgrade over her base form. Small azure sparrows orbit around her during idle animations, reinforcing the avian motif that was only hinted at in her original design.
Weapon & Combat
Her signature weapon is a Chinese-style longsword (likely Sword category). The original teaser showed her with an extensive aerial combo, suggesting strong mid-air capabilities. Community leaks point toward a Havoc attribute DPS role, making her the first Havoc Sword user in the game.
Release & Pull Value
Yangyang: Xuanling headlines the 3.5 banner, expected around July 9–10, 2026. As the first SP character, she's a strong "pull for novelty" pick — but wait for official kit revelations before committing.
Suisui & Suoming — Mingting's New Faces
Suisui (Version 3.5)
Suisui shares a visual language with Yangyang: Xuanling — blue-gold palette, feather motifs, and an affiliation with Mingting (瑝珑明庭). Her drip marketing tagline reads "Fan unfolds — dawn of truth draws near," and her weapon of choice is a folding fan, which maps to the Rectifier weapon class.

Community speculation places her in the Spectro attribute based on her color scheme. Some leaks even suggest she's Yangyang's sister, with in-built team synergy mechanics between the two.
Suoming (Version 3.6)
Suoming is the second loli-model Resonator announced (following Encore). Her design uses a twin-bun hairstyle and an ink-wash umbrella, with heavy red undertones — a recurring visual cue for the Fusion attribute in Wuthering Waves. Whether the umbrella is her actual weapon or purely cosmetic is unconfirmed.
Jingran & Qingxiao — Mengzhou's Warriors
Jingran (Version 3.6)
Jingran is the only male Resonator in the batch of six, standing apart with a rugged, broad-shouldered build that contrasts with Wuthering Waves' leaner male designs (think Jiyan or Calcharo). He's shown wielding a spear and holding a lantern, and his Tacet Mark is prominently placed over his right eye.
His weapon is likely Broadblade based on the silhouette. The community is split between Fusion and Havoc as his potential attribute.
Qingxiao (Version 3.7)
Qingxiao is arguably the most visually striking character in the lineup: dragon horns, flowing white stockings, and a cold, refined demeanor that embodies the "sword immortal" (剑仙) archetype beloved in Chinese fantasy. Her official tagline is "Celestial sword guards the clouded pass."
She wields a one-handed sword (Sword weapon type), and while her attribute is unconfirmed, the community is torn between Aero and Glacio. Her release in 3.7 gives savers the longest runway.
Hsin — Huanglong's Seventh Sentinel
Hsin (心) is the headline reveal and the most story-significant character in the lineup. As one of Huanglong's seven Sentinels, she's been referenced repeatedly in Wuthering Waves' lore but has never physically appeared — until now.
Lore & Design
Her design draws from the Heart Moon Fox (心月狐), the Fifth Mansion of the traditional Chinese Azure Dragon Seven Mansions constellation system. This manifests as fox ears, a flowing tail, and a mature-yet-playful aesthetic that balances authority with allure — fitting for a being of Sentinel-tier power.
How She Compares to Other Sentinels
Hsin is projected for version 3.7, making her the final release of the Mengzhou arc. As a Sentinel-class Resonator, she's the safest long-term bet for players who prioritize meta longevity.
Which New Resonator Should You Save For?
If you're free-to-play or a low spender, here's a pull priority framework based on what we know:
Smart Pulling Strategy
Don't impulse-pull day one. Wait for official kit reveals and multipliers from Kuro Games.
Use character trials during each banner to test feel and team fit.
Redeem active codes before each patch to maximize your free Astrite pool.
Plan around your existing roster. If you already have a strong Havoc DPS (e.g. Camellya), Yangyang: Xuanling may be a sidegrade rather than an upgrade.
Reminder: Everything above is based on teaser visuals, community speculation, and early leaks. Final attributes, weapon types, and kit mechanics are subject to change before official release.
