Genshin Impact Nicole Build Guide: Best Weapons, Artifacts, Team Comps & Materials
Build Nicole as a 5-star Pyro Catalyst support with the best weapons, artifacts, talents, constellations, teams, and materials in Genshin Impact.
Nicole is a new 5-star Pyro Catalyst support character in Genshin Impact. She provides shields, teamwide ATK buffs, and coordinated attacks, making her one of the most flexible support options for ATK-scaling damage dealers. Because of her strong utility, many players compare Nicole to a premium version of Bennett, especially for teams that want ATK buffs without being locked inside a fixed field.
Nicole is especially valuable in Hexerei-style teams, but she can also fit into Overloaded, Burning, Vaporize, Melt, and many traditional ATK-scaling compositions. Her biggest advantage over Bennett is that she provides shielding and starts her main support function through her Elemental Skill. Her main drawback is that she does not provide healing, and her Pyro application is not particularly strong.
In this Nicole build guide, we’ll cover her best weapons, artifacts, talent priority, constellations, team compositions, materials, and gameplay rotations.

Nicole Character Profile
Nicole Information
Nicole Gameplay
Nicole is a Pyro support who focuses on shielding the active character, increasing the entire team’s ATK, and dealing coordinated Pyro attacks through her Elemental Burst. Her kit is very easy to use, which makes her suitable for both beginner and advanced players.
Her Elemental Skill is the core of her support capability. It creates a shield and grants an ATK-based buff to the team. At Talent Level 10, Nicole’s shield absorption scales with 398.1% ATK + 3051, while her Gift of Selflessness buff scales at 15% of her ATK, up to a maximum buff of 600 at C0. Because of this cap, Nicole generally wants around 4,000 ATK at C0.
Compared with Bennett, Nicole’s main advantage is that her support is not restricted to a small circle. She also provides a shield, which makes rotations safer and more comfortable. However, she does not heal, so teams that need sustain may still require another defensive option or careful gameplay.
Nicole’s Elemental Burst mainly provides coordinated attacks. While it is not as important as her Elemental Skill, it is still worth leveling because it adds extra team damage and improves her overall support value.
Nicole Strengths and Weaknesses
Nicole Talent Priority
Nicole’s support value is mainly tied to her Elemental Skill, so it should be leveled first. Her Elemental Burst is useful for coordinated attacks and should be upgraded if you have enough resources. Her Normal Attack is generally not important.
Elemental Skill
Nicole’s Elemental Skill is her most important talent. It provides her shield and ATK buff, making it the foundation of her support role. Since the buff scales with Nicole’s ATK, both talent level and artifact investment are important.
At Level 10, her shield absorption is based on 398.1% ATK + 3051, and her ATK buff reaches a maximum of 600 at C0 when Nicole has around 4,000 ATK.
Elemental Burst
Nicole’s Elemental Burst provides coordinated attacks and adds extra team damage. It is less important than her Elemental Skill, but it should still be leveled if you plan to use her as a complete support unit.
Normal Attack
Nicole’s Normal Attack is not important for support builds. It can remain at Level 1 unless you are building her for a niche on-field playstyle.
Nicole Best Weapons
Nicole’s best weapons are those that provide high Base ATK, ATK%, Energy Recharge, or team utility. Since her support buff scales with ATK, weapons with strong ATK value are preferred.
Best Weapons for Nicole
Best 5-Star Weapon: Seven Radiant Revelations
Seven Radiant Revelations is Nicole’s signature weapon and her best overall choice. It has a very high Base ATK of 741, an ATK% secondary stat, and a passive that increases ATK, damage, and Energy-related performance. It perfectly fits Nicole’s support scaling and rotation needs.
However, its refinement value is not especially high, so most players only need one copy.
Best Standard 5-Star Option: Skyward Atlas
Skyward Atlas is a strong and accessible 5-star weapon for Nicole. Its high Base ATK and ATK% secondary stat help Nicole reach her ATK target more easily. For players who do not have her signature weapon, Skyward Atlas is one of the most practical choices.
Best Utility Option: Favonius Codex
Favonius Codex is useful when Nicole or her team needs more Energy. It does not maximize Nicole’s ATK buff as well as high-ATK weapons, but it improves overall rotation consistency.
Best Beginner Option: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers is a strong early-game support weapon. Although its stats are not ideal for Nicole’s personal ATK scaling, its team ATK buff can be very valuable for beginners or low-investment builds.
Nicole Best Artifacts and Stats
Nicole’s best artifact build focuses on stacking ATK as high as possible while maintaining enough Energy Recharge to use her Elemental Burst smoothly. Her ideal target is around 4,000 ATK and roughly 160% Energy Recharge. If Energy Recharge is too low, an Energy Recharge Sands can replace ATK% Sands.
Best Artifact Sets
Grace Given by Heaven
Grace Given by Heaven is Nicole’s best artifact set. It supports her role as an ATK-scaling shield and buff support, making it the top choice for maximizing her team utility.
Noblesse Oblige
Noblesse Oblige is a strong alternative if no other teammate is using it. The 4-piece effect increases all party members’ ATK after Nicole uses her Elemental Burst, which stacks well with her support identity.
2-Piece + 2-Piece Options
If you do not have a complete Grace Given by Heaven or Noblesse Oblige set, you can use mixed 2-piece combinations that provide ATK% or Energy Recharge. This is especially useful during early farming.
The Exile
The Exile is a beginner-friendly option that helps with Energy needs. It should be replaced once better 5-star artifacts are available.

Nicole Best Team Compositions
Nicole is extremely flexible and can be used in many teams that want ATK buffs, shielding, and coordinated attacks. She can replace Bennett in many older Bennett-based teams, especially when the team benefits from mobility or shielding.
She works particularly well in Hexerei teams, but she can also support Overloaded, Burning, Vaporize, and Melt lineups.
Nicole Hexerei Swirl Team
Recommended Team
Nicole + Durin + Varka + Bronya / Venti
This is one of Nicole’s most recommended teams. It uses a double Pyro and double Anemo-style structure, combining Nicole’s ATK buffs and shielding with strong Hexerei synergy and Swirl-based team pressure.
Nicole Hexerei Overloaded Team
Recommended Team
Nicole + Chevreuse + Fischl + Arlecchino
This team focuses on Overloaded damage and strong ATK-scaling DPS output. Nicole provides shielding and ATK buffs, Chevreuse supports Overloaded-based teams, Fischl contributes off-field Electro damage, and Arlecchino acts as the main on-field damage dealer.
Nicole Burning Team
Recommended Team
Nicole + Durin + Kinich + Emilie
This team focuses on Burning synergy. Nicole provides ATK buffs and shielding, while Kinich and Emilie benefit from sustained Burning uptime and off-field elemental contribution.
Nicole General ATK Support Teams
Nicole can also be inserted into many teams that previously used Bennett. Any DPS unit that benefits from ATK buffs can usually make good use of Nicole, especially if the team also appreciates shielding and more flexible positioning.
Examples include:
Pyro DPS teams
Melt teams
Vaporize teams
Overloaded teams
Hexerei reaction teams
ATK-scaling hypercarry teams

Nicole Gameplay Rotation
Nicole is very easy to play. Her rotations mainly depend on whether you want to use her Burst immediately or save it for coordinated attacks after switching.
Rotation 1
Nicole Elemental Skill → Switch to teammates → Nicole Elemental Burst
This rotation is useful when you want to activate her shield and ATK buff first, then return to Nicole later for her Burst.
Rotation 2
Nicole Elemental Skill → Nicole Elemental Burst → Switch to teammates
This is the simplest rotation. It quickly activates Nicole’s support tools before allowing the main DPS to take the field.
Nicole Constellations
Nicole is already useful at C0, but her constellations greatly improve her support value. C2 and C6 are her most important upgrades, while C1, C3, and C4 also provide meaningful improvements.
Constellation Performance
C1
Nicole’s C1 adds an extra coordinated attack from her Elemental Burst, dealing damage equal to 600% of her ATK. This effect can trigger once every 6 seconds. It provides around a 12% improvement, similar in value to her signature weapon upgrade.
C2
C2 is one of Nicole’s biggest upgrades. It increases the ATK bonus provided by her Elemental Skill by 300, raising the buff from 600 to 900. This is a direct increase, not just a higher cap. It also reduces enemy Elemental RES by 25%, making it a huge teamwide damage increase.
C3
C3 increases Nicole’s Elemental Skill level by 3. This improves both her shield and buff value. The buff cap increases from 600 to around 708, depending on scaling, making it a solid support upgrade.
C4
C4 gives Nicole an additional damage-enhancing effect similar to Shenhe’s Elemental Skill mechanic. When characters deal damage with Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, Elemental Skills, Elemental Bursts, or Plunging Attacks, the damage is increased based on 70% of Nicole’s ATK. At 4,000 ATK, this equals around 2,800 bonus damage value. The effect lasts 20 seconds and can trigger up to 8 times per character.
C5
C5 increases Nicole’s Elemental Burst level by 3. It improves her Burst damage and coordinated attack value, but it is less important than C2, C4, or C6.
C6
C6 is Nicole’s strongest constellation. It upgrades Gift of Selflessness into a stronger blessing state and prevents it from reverting. More importantly, it allows damage to ignore 40% of enemy DEF. This DEF ignore alone can provide roughly a 25% total damage increase, making C6 a massive upgrade for high-investment teams.
Nicole Ascension and Talent Materials
Nicole’s materials include boss drops, regional specialties from Nod-Krai, and weekly boss materials. Players who want to fully build Nicole should prepare materials for Level 90 and high-level Elemental Skill investment first.

Material Farming Tips
Prioritize boss materials first if you plan to ascend Nicole to Level 90.
Farm Pine-Ambra Fragrance across Nod-Krai whenever it respawns.
Weekly boss materials are time-gated, so challenge Dottore every week.
Build her Elemental Skill first, then her Elemental Burst.
Artifact farming should focus on Grace Given by Heaven once her level and talents are ready.
Conclusion
Nicole is a powerful 5-star Pyro Catalyst support who provides shields, ATK buffs, and coordinated attacks. She is especially strong for ATK-scaling characters and Hexerei-style teams, but her flexibility also allows her to fit into Overloaded, Burning, Vaporize, Melt, and many traditional Bennett-style compositions.
Her best build focuses on high ATK and enough Energy Recharge. For most players, the ideal setup is Grace Given by Heaven with ATK% Sands, ATK% Goblet, and ATK% Circlet, aiming for around 4,000 ATK and 160% Energy Recharge. Her best weapon is Seven Radiant Revelations, while Skyward Atlas, Favonius Codex, Oathsworn Eye, and Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers are useful alternatives depending on investment level.
Nicole is strong at C0, but C2 and C6 are her biggest upgrades. C2 greatly improves her ATK buff and reduces enemy Elemental RES, while C6 adds powerful DEF ignore for a major teamwide damage increase.
